Part two-2 of this two-part series addresses broad equity issues in Common Core implementation, including: identifying key considerations for the visioning process during the initiation of Common Core; describing major components in a theory of change; identifying basic elements of effective professional learning; expanding conceptualization of professional learning to include notions of culturally responsive and inclusive ideologies; and, identifying the definition, characteristics, and rationale for establishing professional learning communities during the Common Core Era.
