Hate crimes and targeted violence, including antisemitism, are rising in America, posing threats to democracy, public trust, and community safety. The Biden-Harris Administration has launched the most comprehensive strategy in U.S. history to counter antisemitism, which includes increasing awareness, improving safety for Jewish communities, reversing the normalization of antisemitism, and fostering cross-community solidarity to counter hate. This strategy calls for a whole-of-society approach involving federal, state, and local authorities, civil society, community and faith leaders, the private sector, and individual citizens.
