This edition of the Equity Dispatch states that Asian American students, like other students, have unique strengths, needs, and stories that deserve attention from educators and peers. Looking with an equity lens at within-group diversity and the ways in which educational systems silence or disadvantage members of this group, as well as provide them a space to connect learning with their lived experiences, are relevant to creating conditions for Asian American students to flourish within U. S. school communities.
