How do equity-focused school leaders, who are truly committed to constructing more justice-oriented and truly inclusive environments, distinguish themselves from those who claim to be anti-racist because it is the in thing to do?

The purpose of this Equity by Design brief is to support equity-focused leaders in reflect on their internal life; understand how that internal life intersects with their public equity leadership; and then offer grounding principles for beginning a practice of Conscious Praxis (Radd, 2021).
