This Equity Tool, Hmong and Latina/o/x Testimonios: The Pedagogical Space Between, highlights three powerful testimonios written by high school students Agnelia, Liberty, and Tianna. The testimonios are published in the form of an e-tool in collaboration with Kate Roberts, Taucia González, Mariana Pacheco, and Joan Hong as an outcome of a university youth research project.
We invite you to listen and learn, and more importantly, to tap into the transformative potential of testimonios as a pedagogical tool to take action on the educational inequities that Hmong and Latina/o/x students experience. Agnelia, Liberty, and Tianna’s experiences are their own, but they also reflect the experiences of many Hmong and Latina/o/x students.
