With the growing interests in STEM at both the national and international levels, and the perpetuation of racial disparities in academic and STEM career outcomes, educators must provide learning experiences that foster the positive STEM development of Black learners. This Equity by Design brief focuses on the importance of centering families in the STEM learning of Black students.
