Rose Jackson Buckley, Ph.D.
Rose Jackson Buckley is the Assistant Director of Technical Assistance at the Midwest and Plains Equity Assistance Center (MAP Center) within the Great Lakes Equity Center. Dr. Buckley serves as a member of the Executive Leadership team, as well as the co-team leader and co-project manager for the provision of technical assistance and professional learning experiences.
Dr. Buckley's work involves managing the design and delivery of on-site and web-based professional development content, and providing professional learning technical assistance to clients within the center’s 13-state region. Dr. Buckley’s experience as a researcher, university instructor, educational consultant, and K-12 educator has provided her with a depth of knowledge in positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS), culturally sustaining practices, universal design for learning (UDL), and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS).
Previously, Dr. Buckley has worked for Project Lead The Way, the Center on Education and Lifelong Learning (CELL), Virtuoso Education Consulting, and the Center for Urban and Multicultural Education (CUME). Currently, she holds State of Indiana licenses in Special Education and School Psychology. Buckley received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University in Special Education. She holds a Master of Science in Educational Psychology and a Doctor of Philosophy in School Psychology from Indiana University.
