The Midwest & Plains Equity Assistance Center, Region III Equity Assistance Center, is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Director of Technical Assistance.

Midwest & Plains Equity Assistance Center, a project of the Great Lakes Equity Center was established on October 1, 2016  as one of four regional Equity Assistance Centers funded by the U.S. Department of Education under Title IV of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. The Center provides direct support to state and local education agencies engaged in equity-driven work.

The assistant director of technical assistance (ADTA) serves as a member of the executive leadership team, as well as the team leader and project manager for the provision of equity-focused technical assistance and professional learning experiences to regional clients. The ADTA manages the design and delivery of on-site and online professional development content, and provides professional learning technical assistance to clients within the center’s 13-state region.   Additionally, the ADTA is responsible for managing client intakes and records, as well as overseeing client information data entry.  The ADTA works in collaboration with the assistant director of program evaluation and continuous improvement and provides supervisory supports to the center’s instructional designer, technical assistance specialists, and graduate assistants.
