Equity Leaders Institutes require that participants have some orientation to and knowledge of the targeted content. For the 2019 Institute, participants should have a basic understanding of educational equity and are engaged in equity-related work in their local settings.

Individuals interested in attending an Equity Leaders Institute are asked to complete an online application by July 19, 2018. The application process allows Institute planners to gain a sense of potential participants’ areas of need and interests to inform session content and activities.

 

Registration and Fees

Once accepted, applicants will be expected to register for the Fall 2019 Equity Leaders Institute.

Early Bird Registration Fee: $170.00 (April 1 - June 30, 2019)
Standard Registration Fee: $190.00 (July 1 - August 2, 2019)

The 2019 Institute registration fee will cover all sessions, breakfast, and lunch on both days, and materials.

 

Scholarships

The MAP Center is offering five scholarships based on economic need for accepted applicants to waive the registration fee. To be considered, applicants must complete the scholarship application.
